This is a gentle, mindful workshop, which most people find very relaxing and insightful. Using a therapeutic, meditative art form with flowing, organic lines, no artistic ability is required.
What is Neurographic Art?
- Neurographic Art is a simple, guided drawing process that can help you slow down and focus your mind, whilst calming your nervous system.
- We start by drawing organic, spontaneous lines and then we gradually work with those lines by softening the corners and connecting shapes.
- As you draw, the focus isn’t on creating an image, but on noticing your internal experience—the lines can be a way of expressing what you’re feeling physically or emotionally, without needing to put it into words. This tends to feel quite calming and repetitive, and many people notice that as the drawing becomes more balanced, their thoughts or emotions begin to feel more settled too.
- The aim isn’t to create something “perfect” or artistic—it’s about giving you a space to process, reflect, and shift how things feel internally.
- Some people find it relaxing, others find it helps with clarity or emotional release. Everyone’s experience is a bit different, and we’ll approach it at your pace.
No experience needed. All art materials supplied. Coffee & tea included.
